🎙SOSA Open Mic

The Southern Oregon Songwriters Association is hosting this Open Mic featuring all original music!  Come on out to share your own original music and/or enjoy music written and performed by members of our own Southern Oregon community.  Excellent wines, foods, and views also on the menu :).  Sign ups start at 4:30, music starts at 5:00.

🎵 Music by the Pond Special Edition with LEFT

Collectively these 5 musicians have a musical repertoire that spans decades and genres. Their indie folk sound is a little bit of folksy rock & roll sprinkled with blues, country, bluegrass, and a whole lot of heart. Tickets will sell out for this show, so be sure to get them early!

Tickets are $20 and it is recommended to purchase them in advance, as this is an indoor show, so seating is limited.  Tickets are being sold by the band, so please contact LEFT with any questions.  

Table reservations are avilable in advance for Dos Mariposas Wine Club members.  Same-day table reservations are availalble for non-club members.  Please call the Dos Mariposas Tasting Room for table reservations.

Join us for Thursday Night Wine & Dine, starting at 5:30pm. Catering this week is by Dancing Cats and features Italian Chicken Penne Pasta with artichoke hearts, spinach, and creamy vodka sauce, Caesar salad, garlic bread, and carrot cake for dessert! $17/person

Additional Details:

• Please call the tasting room @541-224-7881 to RSVP by Wednesday, 1/15/25. Note: you will pay for your meal at the end of dinner service – no advance ticket purchase required.

• Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30pm; please arrive no later than 6:15.

• Wine, beer, cider, lavender lemonade, and other beverages from our menu will be available for purchase.

• A small number of meals may be available for same-day purchases, but RSVPs are necessary to determine how much food is needed, so please notify us if your plans change.

🎬 Movie Night!

This added and extra relaxed movie night is for everyone and especially for the parents of young children who just got through a 2 week winter holiday and are now faced with a 4-day weekend!

RSVP Wild Robot Movie Night

Movie: The Wild Robot (PG)

• Start time: 6:00pm

• Run time: 1hr 42 min

• Couches will be set up in front for those primarily interested in the movie with tables behind for those who prefer a solid surface to hold their wine.

• No reservations or tickets required, but if you know you’re coming, we’d love an RSVP so we can plan properly for seating. 

• Dos Mariposas full food and beverage menu will be available before and during the movie.

• Cozy jammie wearing is totally acceptable :).

If you haven’t yet seen this, it is totally worth the watch.  It’s heartwarming, exciting, and the animation is beautiful!  In short, Roz, a personal assistant robot, is shipwrecked on a deserted island and must learn to adapt to its new surroundings, build relationships, and learn how to be a parent to an orphaned gosling.

If your New Year’s resolution is to try something new, we’ve got the perfect thing! Join us for a Thursday Night Line Dancing Class hosted by one of our own – seasoned line dancer, Maddy!  Whether you’re a master Boot Scootin’ Boogier or last danced the Macarena at your cousin’s wedding in the early 90s, don’t be shy! Come solo or bring your friends for a night of fun, learning some new dance moves, and meeting new people. It’s the perfect way to kick off the new year and get moving!

Our Open Mic afternoon is gaining quite the following!  There is so much talent in this valley and we can’t wait to see more of you.  Musicians, poets, comedians, and other talented folks are encouraged to come showcase your talents.  All skill levels welcome :).  Time slots will be 10 minutes.  Sign up starts at 1:00 on a first-come, first-served basis onsite on the day of the open mic night.  So, get here early to snag the prime slots!
