With his leukemia diagnosis, our patriarch, John, has received countless life-saving blood transfusions over the past couple of months and we are indebted to those who give blood to make this possible.  BUT, there is a severe shortage of blood right now and the blood banks are having a hard time keeping up with demand. So, we’d like to do our part to give back and bank blood for others.  As such, we are partnering with the Jacksonville-Applegate Rotary Club and the Jacksonville Boosters Club to sponsor this blood drive.

🎶 Live Music with the Nonesuch.ReedQuintet!

We are thrilled to welcome our first classical quintet to the Dos Mariposas stage! Based in Eugene, Oregon, the nonesuch.reedquintet is a professional chamber ensemble dedicated to sharing the joy of music through engaging performances and educational presentations in the PNW and beyond.  Join us as this group of skilled musicians bring classical music to life though storytelling, context, sound exploration inviting curiosity and imagination!  The ensemble brings together oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet, and bassoon to create a richly colored and expressive sonic world that reimagines where and how classical music is experienced.

🎶 Live Music with BOOM!

The resume for this band is far too lengthy to list! These musicians have performed with everyone from Tina Turner to Rick Springfield, Joe Cocker to Bo Diddly, and Bud Cockrell to Carole King, just to name a few. Playing songs you know by heart, B.O.O.M. will have you swaying in your seats or up dancing on your feet in no time!

The plan is for an indoor show, which means we’ll be capping tickets at 80.  If the forecast improves, we may move outside and increase the number of tickets, but if you want to see this show, you’ll definitely want to get your tickets early!!

In our quest to bring you musical joy every week and to continue supporting local live music, we are implementing a small surcharge on food and beverages during live music.

A price increase of $1 on flights, glasses of wine, other beverages, and food and $2 on bottles of wine will take effect 45 minutes prior to and throughout the duration of live music events.*

Though the increase is small, it will have a big impact in helping us keep the music alive and well! Thank you for your support of Dos Mariposas and of the outstanding musicians of our little valley!
